Creator privacy protection
Before broadcasting publicly, decide what belongs in your professional profile and what stays private. Use this checklist for your work accounts, public photos and creator profile.
Separate professional and personal accounts
Use a dedicated stage name, email and social accounts. Before publishing an X or Instagram link, check older posts for private contacts, family details and everyday locations.
- Use unique passwords and the account verification options offered by each platform.
- Publish only details you are comfortable keeping public. Links to personal accounts can connect more information than you intended.
Check photos and your streaming frame
Look for backgrounds, screen reflections, parcel labels, location tags and file metadata. Review workplace details, regular routines and contact information in your bio too.
- Preview what viewers will see before publishing.
- When replacing or withdrawing a photo, also check the other accounts you publicly linked.
- A publicly displayed photo is not blanket permission to republish it or uncover someone’s private identity.
Understand location restriction limits
Review the location restrictions and blocking options currently available in platform privacy settings, and confirm their coverage with official support. Restrictions manage visibility at applicable entry points; they do not guarantee protection against recording or redistribution.
- Treat these settings as exposure controls, not a promise of anonymity.
- If content appears where it should be restricted, record the page address, time and relevant settings for official support to investigate.
Report impersonation or unauthorized copies
Save the page address, account name, time and necessary screenshots, then report the content to the platform hosting it. Avoid publishing more private material as proof.
- Stripchat’s official instructions direct creators to DMCA Protection under Settings and Privacy in their model account, where they can submit infringing addresses.
- The relevant platform or service handles removal requests. Keep the request reference and follow up; submitting a request does not mean removal has occurred.
When intimate images are threatened or shared
Check StopNCII.org’s eligibility: you are the person depicted, were at least 18 when the image was taken, are currently over 18, possess the image, and the content meets its intimate-image criteria. Read the full conditions on its official site.
What StopNCII can do
The tool creates an image hash on your device and submits the fingerprint, not the image or video. Participating platforms act on matches under their own policies. It cannot promise removal from the whole internet.
- Keep your case number and PIN safely, and follow the official process.
Get help with a specific issue
Contact the official support team of the platform hosting the content, with the relevant address and issue. The person depicted should use StopNCII directly on its official site.
This checklist helps reduce public exposure. It cannot promise complete anonymity, prevent every recording, or make third-party content disappear immediately.
